Keely Rhodes
Hailed for her versatility and “true rich tone,” Keely enjoys singing all styles of music. She has performed as a soloist and collaborative artist within the United States, Italy, Central America and South America. She is the artistic director for two choral organizations; The South Boundary Singers and Belles Canto.
Dr. Rhodes serves as an assistant professor of music in vocal studies, and as the coordinator of vocal studies. She has had the honors of: working with the renown Sra. Mirella Freni, serving as a Fulbright Scholar to Italy, winning the Austin Critic’s Table Award for Best Classical Singer – Female, and receiving a Grammy®Award with Conspirare.
Keely has recorded with multiple ensembles and produced her own album, Christmas Calling. Keely holds a certification in CCM, and has been awarded the degrees of: Bachelor of Music from Oberlin Conservatory, Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Texas in Austin.
